So attempted my first solo same day wedding video. It was a tough day as I was in a new city and didn’t have my own car to get to bride and groom preparations. Got the edit finished on time though and it was very well received by the crowd and bridal party. Check it out…

Here’s a pic of my gear on the hotel floor this morning. Not a lot of fun lugging all that around by yourself….

Just got back from a weekend in Akaroa where I filmed the wedding of Lea & Andy. We were lucky enough to screen the final edit at the local cinema – which is a fantastic little venue.

Wayne and Emma’s Wedding

Wayne ( a South African) & Emma (a kiwi) met each other in China and went to Terrace Downs last weekend to marry.

What a fantastic location! Damien (editor) and myself were lucky enough to get a 3 bedroom villa for the night.

The below video is we edited together on the day and played at the end of the reception.

Drove over to Greymouth to shoot my good buddy Mike’s wedding. Damien thought he’d try some new split screen editing with this video and I shot the whole thing in 60p – just for something different. As is always the case with these same day edit wedding videos – we were full on all day and only just finished it in time for the screening during dessert.

We’re pretty happy with how it came out – check it out….

Damien and I shot our 3rd wedding over at French Farm. Again we filmed and edited on the same day and played the video at the reception – which got a fantastic response.

The 1st wedding shot on the new Canon 7D. Loved using the slow mo. Were able to JUST get the video edited and screened on time and got a fantastic crowd reaction.
