InTheHouse.co.nz

16 Jan

The return of the politcians to parliament marks the 2010 launch of the website InTheHouse.co.nz.  It has a revamped look from 2009 and hopefully better performance now the video content has been shifted to Youtube.

It has taken quite awhile to get to this point and is an ongoing process.  The site gets uploaded around 80 videos a day so the logistics have to be handled carefully otherwise the whole site could get out of control.

It’s unique in that you can search for any MP, bill, question or topic and instantly watch the video.

Visit it to find out what your local MP has been up to.

Nudel.co.nz

17 Jun

This is a site I built for my good friend Morgan Williams who runs a mens underwear company called Nudel.  He makes some seriously good underwear.

It’s a basic Drupal website that took just a few hours to build.

TheCatsPyjamas.co.nz

2 Feb

A new pre-school, The Cats Pyjamas, started out in Rolleston and I was asked to put together their website.

It wasn’t a straight forward site either – there is a whole bunch of pages and teachers being teachers everything got spell checked, changed, tweaked & revised a dozen times.

This one is built from the ground up in HTML.

PacePM.co.nz

19 Jun

Pace Project Management are a national company that needed a solid site to showcase their work and give a brief run down of their business.

They had an existing site but it was well and truly dated.

So we decided to start from scratch.  The site was built from a free CSS template.  I took most of the photos of the buildings and staff and photoshopped them and utilised a great free light window pop up box to display them.

The end result is a fresh, functional site that has a short load time.
